Day 15

Another day without smoking.  I found that I am sleeping much better now that I have quit.  I can hardly wake up and get going in the morning.  Maybe it is because my body doesn't demand it's nicotine fix anymore.  Maybe it is because I have also cut out drinking caffeine and alcohol.  I'm not quitting those forever but I know that both of those things have strong smoking associations for me.  So for the time being, I am drinking orange juice and water like it is going out of style.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution ran an article in today's paper about quitting. You can read it here.

Congratulations as you start your second smoke-free week, Brad!

I read the Journal article, checked the blog, saw the link to your blog. There sure are lots of people with you.

You are doing great.

Rock on! After awhile you'll have a day where you don't think about smoking at all. Hang in there! Watch out for the smokey bars. Those will really try to undermine you. (they did me, anyway)
